I hope this note finds all of you healthy and happy. Everyone here is good. I just wanted to share a little "Santa" story with you all. In a fury to finish up "the shopping" a few days ago, I went into Chimera in the mall. While the clerk (she was awesome!)was ringing me up, I glanced behind the counter and noticed a few, used, beat up looking kits. I asked what she was going to do with them, and she said she was going to toss them, because they were opened, started, and incomplete. I asked if I could buy them and, after a little back and forth, she gave them to me. That never happens to me, mister day late and dollar short! It truly was a Christmas moment. The kits are really no big deal, but they are 95% complete. And the AWB Chevy II.... I have had this kit twice before and never built it because I HATE altered wheel base cars. But, I love Chevy II's. However, as I grow a little older and learn appreciation for drag racing history, they are growing on me. I will build this kit this time. It is a "sign". The other two? Parts? Not sure. It was just a really fun time of my day. Have a Merry Christmas everyone! We will talk to you soon. Newt
