Hello to everyone. I need to start with an apology. We had a meeting and voted that we, as a club will be building a 4x8 "Wisco Outlaws" dio for the NNL display this year. Between busy life and having been there, I just assumed EVERYONE knew what was going on. WRONG! Let's fix it. If you have never watched "Street Outlaws", basically, it is a group of regular guys with really fast "street" cars that get together on weekends and race 1/8th mile, on the street. We will be building a section of Wisconsin, country road with racing happening on it. The nuts and bolts of it are this: Cool-ass cars that would be competiitve on the show, later-model tow vehicles with trailers. Basically, the show with a Wisconsin twist. If you have ANY questions, please post them here! We will try to post who is doing what so everyone can get a feel for what will be on there, and progress photos as we go. Thanks.

Good day to all. We will be working on the DIO on Sunday, 02/15/15 at my place beginning at noon? if you want to come, lemme know, just for a head count. We will be working on the turf and road "colors", maybe some tree details, ditch weeds, etc.
Also, just a side note; I was reading the WAM newsletter last night, and there was a reference to an estate sale for "Biker Bruce"? This isn't "our" Bruce, is it? And, too, I did read that the swap meet on the Sunday after the NNL in Waukesha is on. Thanks, Newt

I will be there. Biker Bruce was from the Milwaukee area I think...not our Bruce. He died a few years ago. I have a model that came from his estate. Got it at the stooges swap a couple years ago.

Hey everyone. We will be having a build meeting at my house on Sunday, March 1st, at 11:30/noon. We will be installing "tall" grass. Bring your own grass, and poker-tool. HINT: In the past, I have gone to Fleet or Menards and bought cheap paint brushes (wooden handle). The bristles make great grass, either natural or painted/tinted. Also, you can dip the brush in paint and then wipe it almost dry for color. Also, the tips of the bristles can be dipped in paint lightly and allow that to dry to simulate a cattail sort of a thing. It'll be a hoot! Hope to see you there. OH! Also, we may play with water, and I/we need to doctor up the really poor "plowed field".

I hope to have the car problem taken care of by then, got an estimate. $11,000 damage to the car, the good news is they gat the SOB who ran us off the road!

Hello to all! We will be having our Second-to-Last Group build day on the dio tomorrow, March 29th anytime after Noon. Please come to this build date so we can whip ass on this thing. Also, next Saturday, April 4th will be the last group build day. We will be doing a mock-up on this day. If you want your stuff on the display, you NEED to bring it to this meeting, finished or not, so we can see where everything will be going/fitting.
PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST WITH WHO HAS WHAT! WILL YOUR STUFF BE DONE IN TIME? WE NEED A FINAL COUNT.

I will have two complete race teams, 2 cars, 2 trucks and 2 trailers. Both trailers are open and short.
