Hey everyone, I have a few things I want to post, just to keep everyone in the "know".
Hrt brought it to my attention that there was possibly no inclusion of our model contest listing on the flyer that was being handed out for the Labor Day Eden show. I did contact Tim (in charge of the show), and he put me in touch with Shawn, who is handling the flyer. I e-mailed a link to our logo and he said he will include it on future flyers. So, keep your eyes open if you attend any local car shows between now and then. We should be in print!
Also, I have three new kits for prize give-aways for the contest and can get a few more. Has anyone else picked some up? We will talk about this stuff at the next meeting too. Trophies? Ribbons/kits? What do we want to give away for prizes?
I was able to obtain the Make-n-Take '34 Fords for Keil, so we are set for that again this year. I will keep us posted as soon as I learn the date.
The shirts are ordered for the second round members who missed on the first order. I will let you all know when they are ready.
Bug spent the last week or so thrashing to get her multi-piece bodied Corvette ready for the Fair. She air-brushed it with Bob's Paint, after mudding the seams and it turned out pretty nice. We'll have to see what the judges think. Sorry, no pics yet. Another 4H project in the books.
