Not sure if this goes here, or in "Going to America", but here it is.
This is the second time around for me and this kit. The first one is in the coffee table. I wanted it to look like an ex-drag car, that had an accident, was straightened out, got a new front end, and then was parted down, and put up for sale. There is a loooong teen-aged memory story that brought this car up again, but I'll not bore you with that.
The finish is Model Masters flat black, with various gloss, and semi-gloss coats, and the "tub" was treated to hand lettering that wore off, and Model Masters multi-color glitter clear, that was sanded mostly off (sun-baked) for that "bass-boat"look. (It really sucked to sand it off, it was really cool)
I left some of the floor under the car in the original color; sort of a tribute to the guy who had it before me.
