If you saw the "Garagenous Zone" post of the Corvettes, here is the first one done. I thought it should maybe go into the "junkers" catagory, but it IS a street machine that just had a bad day. As you may have read, I got this from the swap meet for parts. It turns out that I had enough to build what I wanted. This kit started as one of these: There were missing parts, so the hard core collectors shouldn't be too upset that I chopped it up. I modelled it as a car that came out of the body shop in the late 70's/early 80's that got clipped in the right front by a dumb#@% that blew a red light. Thanks for looking, and enjoy the pics! The right front wheel took most of the impact, which bent the fame and suspension. The hood lived, although it has some cracks, as do the surounding panels from the hood getting pushed into them. I had never tryed "damaged" fiberglass before. Not sure if I pulled it off, but it looks o.k. to me. The Vette will now be taking up residence on "Red's" trailer. One down, four to go.........
