Being a fan of Gm "Big Cars" all of my life, there has always been a little spot in my heart for the first body of the 4th Gen Caprice. In 1991 GM offered the all new bodied Caprice (I know, I know, it's a dog) and then in 1993, they opened the rear wheel wells, and , in my opinion, REALLY uglied it up. But where was the Impala? In 1994, GM brought back the Impala in the form of an SS. (I know, still a dog, but kinda cool?) But it has always bothered me about the wheel wells. So I decided that I should create the semi-cool Impala SS, but with the "good" body. So I went shopping and landed a Snap-Kit 1992 Caprice. I was nervous about the whole snap-together thing (no detail, crappy casting, etc.) But, and this is why I am posting this, HOLLY COW! I was very please to see what was in the box that the post man brought! Check out these pics and observe the parts-count! This is a pretty cool kit that will make my project pretty darn easy. It may take a month, or years for this thing to get together, but I am looking forward to doing this project, thanks to Revell and their really great offering.

This is going to be a very cool project newt. I've always liked the 90's SS Impalas. How about a fuel injected big block under the hood ?
