Howdy everyone! Long time no see! At the last meeting, we discussed the 34 Ford make-n-take, specifically who has one of these kits and who is going to build one to take to the Kiel car show for a show-n-tell at the Make-n-Take. Well, I just ordered mine and when it gets here I will be starting it. Who is building one and what style are you building it in? I figure we should take a slightly modified one, and mediumly-modded one, and a highly modded one. What do you think? What version should I build? Do we need a box-stock one? Or two? Fender-ed and non-fender-ed? Help? I would like to show what a simple kit like this could look like with some kit-bashing and some experience.

I ordered 3 of them. I'm going to build one, and I'm going to have Kris and Carly (9 yrs old) each build one so we have examples built by different age groups. Haven't decided how I'm going to build mine yet, but I'm just going to turn the girls loose and let them build them right out of the box. Mine will at least be paint detailed, if not modified in some way. I'll get you more specifics when we get rolling on them.

It's this one. www.revell.com/model-kits/snaptite/85-1943.htmlLet me know if you will be bringing one built. The show is in August. Fish has a built (earlier) version of this kit. It looks like the California Kid's ride? He'll be bring it and HRT and his young ladies will be bringing 3? (AWESOME ) I think I am going to put a "traditional" twist on mine. Lemme know, and happy building!

VERY COOL!!!! Nice pics. I haven't even un-boxed mine yet, but Bugs Edsel is closing in on completion. Hey, what's up with the boxes in the background?
