Thanks bob! Very easy, I just found a round piece of styrene close to the same size as the coils and wrapped "mechanics wire" don't remember what gauge around it close to the same number of coils and smashed and pulled it back until I got the height I wanted-- and painted it flat black

Awesome chassis-work! It looks just right to me! Much more difficult than one would think. It's easy to over-do it, but you nailed it.
