Oct. meeting

Our October meeting will be at Lori's at 7:00 on the 10th.
We will be having a swap meet, discussing building Mel's Drive-In from American Graffiti, and we will be inviting Mike Freund to attend. Bring 1 or 2 of your nicest models so he can see what we can do! John P. will be bringing the movie on DVD, and Cory will be bringing a lap-top so we can view parts of the movie.

I thought the Oct. 10th meeting went well. Sorry I had to bolt so early. I spent the WHOLE weekend on the roof, and wanted to see my wife for a couple of minutes.
The one thing that I/we learned is that Mike is VERY detail oriented. This project is going to be fun, but we are going to have to nail the details. I will be posting dates for the next meeting soon, but figure late Oct./early Nov. Check which kits we have and post them here.
We will be needing: 55 Chevy for Bob Falfa, 56 T-Bird, 4 Door 58 Edsel, 32 Ford Milner Coupe (with a roof ), the Citroen , 60 Vette, 55 Chevy Hardtop, 55 Chevy Nomad, 51 (49) Merc for the Pharaoh's, and the early 60's Ford Squad Car.
Any others?
Sounds like we can purchase these kits as needed, if you don't want to part with yours. So don't feel like if you have the kit you have to donate it. You will be re-reimbursed as soon as Gilles is delivered.
