The next meeting will be at Fish's Garage on Sunday, Sept. 18th, 2011 (I know it hasn't been a year, but close?)at 7:00 p.m.. For those of you who may not know, Fish's Garage is right next to Lori's bar. This will NOT be a "building Mel's" meeting, but we will talk about it. I will let Fish fill you in on all of the rest of the meeting details, so watch for future posts on this thread.....

Well, I like to anounce the grand opening of...

"Fish's Hobby Store"

I recently purchased a large model collection and would like you guys to come check it all out and to be completely surrounded by plastic for this meeting. Just for something different...no pressure...just a get together to talk about models.

I also wanted to give you guys 1st chance to buy anything before it goes up for sale on ebay and swap meets.

Newt was gracious enough to help me get everything back home safe and sound (Thanks Newt !). We filled a 6x10 enclosed trailer and the whole back of Newt's Suburban. I believe there to be over 1000 kits in all

I hope everybody can make it for the meeting and I think it will be a lot of fun.

I really hope you everybody can make it to the meeting just to see all of the stuff.

I've been spending just about every spare minute sorting, organizing and digging through all of the stuff. I picked up some shelving and you can pretty much see everything. It's mostly 1/25 & 1/24 cars and trucks (sealed kits, open kits and built-ups), but just a few boats, planes and some big scale cars. There are a ton of parts too, so make a list of any parts you may need.

Good job, Bob! I was also wanting to thank Fish for puting HIS neck out there and supplying us with our very own "GOOD DEAL" shopping spree. We all hope for the best for Fish and his investment and greatly appreciate the opportunity to raid it before he goes public! I cannot think of a more wonderful experience as a modeler! If you couldn't find something there that didn't get you excited, you are in the wrong hobby. Thanks again Fish! ;D

I would like to thank all of you for coming...it was a hoot for me too.

I think the most fun for me was when everybody finally started diggin' through the stuff. At 1st all of you guys were lookin' politely around like you were in a public store...it took a while, but then it turned into a bunch of "kids in a candy store"

Thanks again for the purchases & I hope everybody was happy with what they picked up.

Now if we can only talk Nick into hosting a meeting so everybody can check out "Jagow's Auto"...
