Guys that looks awesome!!! The real question is , does everyone still have all their finger and other body parts all intact? With me having only sundays off I have been spending them doing family stuff. This one we went to Green Bay to see the inlaws do the G.B. marathon. On a good note I did get up to N.E.W. hobby. Thats always a treat. With any luck my wife will let me come to next session. Im itching to build something. Ive been in the model room rearanging things so I can use my sheves but thats about it.

Found some u channel for the curved windows. It's in the rack of brass and aluminum tubing and metal at Kitz& Pfeil or Focus should have it too. Would be perfect.

Well, been away for a long time, but I am going to try and pump some new life into this site. I have some under-construction of the Pharoah's Merc and some pics of the completed Mel's Diorama (which I will post in "Pics from Model Shows). For those of you not in the know, we completely scrapped the first attempt at the building and started over. If anyone has under-construction photos of Mel's, please post them here. We started with a very in-accurate, resin 1951 Mercury body. The casting was not great, the "B" pillars were wrong, etc..... But, I really needed that 1951 Rear-end. So I joined the '51 rear with a Revell 1949 front 3/4. The wedding went pretty smoothly, but there were body line issues. So primer and filler................ and more primer and filler.................... Plus a custom made mud-spreader............... and also, the rear window was too big, so we shrunk it. Twice...............and then mor primer and filler.......... And more sanding until we could FINALLY blow some color on it. Not perfect,, but pretty respectible And then some light polishing and finally stripes! Here are a few pics of the roof of the restaurant (my part)

Oops! Forgot about the people! No diorama is complete without figures. Sometimes, ready-made ones work great, but sometimes you have to "customize them" Before and after of Debbie! (always check to see what clearcoat will do to marker.....) And, the Pharoahs. And a car-hop. Replaced feet, added the funny hat and pocket/apron, and some new paint. And a few close-ops of the random Hudson in the movie. My first Moebius kit! Nice, nice kit!
