Hey all, I thought I would start this topic, kinda off the cuff. We all know what cars need to be built, just don't know who's building them. If you have a kit that fits and want to build it for Mel's, post it here so we all know, and get all of the bases covered. I have, and will build the Citroen, and also have, and will build the Pharoah's Merc. Please post what you are thinking, and let me know if you are or were planning one of these cars. Thanks, Newt.

I've got a couple '55 Nomads, but I could also built the 4-door Edsel or Falfa's '55 or the '58-'60 Vette. I'm easy

I'm willing to do Milner's coupe...I have a fresh '32 5-window. I could do Falfa's '55 as well, and I'm definitely down to do Steve/Toad's '58...

If that's alright--I'll do the yellow '56 Chevy. Does anyone know if I need the Monogram blue '56 Chevy or do I need the brown and white kit (I can't think of the name of it.)? Someone told me the 2 kits are different--one's a Bel-Air and the other one's a 210. Which one is the car in the movie?

I don't remember which one is in the movie, I'd have to watch it again...but the 2 kits are definitely different...one is a hardtop and one is a sedan...

I stumbled across this today as I was doing some searching around...the license plate for Falfa's '55 is GLD-204...might be a cool detail for whoever builds that one...

Scored this on ebay...not going to use this kit, the Revell '32 Fords are way better than these, but I thought it might have some useful parts in it...

Cool score, but I see what you mean about it being a little "wrong". The Beetle might make a good addition. I will try to watch the movie this week and get some answers to some questions.
